Published Today: Living Safely With Bats: Lessons in Developing and Sharing a Global One Health Educational Resource
We are proud to announce “Living Safely With Bats: Lessons in Developing and Sharing a Global One Health Educational Resource”, a continuation of work for the USAID Emerging Pandemic Threats PREDICT project with contributions from local PREDICT teams and BreakthroughACTION.

After the discovery of a novel ebolavirus in bats in 2016, over 30 One Health experts with diverse experience in animal and human health came together to compile the picture book “Living Safely with Bats” as an accessible behavioral risk intervention. Since then, the book has been translated and used in over 20 countries. The book emphasizes daily safety practices as well as the ecological importance of bats.
